In Helens lesson we where experimenting with crimped hair by using just bobby pins and open pins.
The process is to get either a large section or small sec on of hair, get the open pin anyplace it at the bottom of the section of hair and weave in the figure of eight around the pin to the end of the hair. You then hold it in place with a closed bobby pin and with the hair straighteners clamp on top to heat it into place. Leave to cool and take the pins off and you get the end result!
You can either have it as it is or brush through to have a volumed effect!

With the finished piece I brushed the waves out which created its own volume, which was fantastic with this look!
