The look I did in class was a dome shaped rat which went from ear to ear, with a crimped texture, and small curls at the from. I will take you step by step of what I have done to achieve this final outcome.
- Get ten small sections across the front of the head ( as these will be curls at the end)
- Then section from ear to ear about an inch and a half wide and crimp with tongs
- Once crimped, get a small section on the crimped hair and do a french plait from the centre of the head to the ear and pull the plait back up and pin to the head, repeat this on the other side.
- This plait will be the anchor for the rat to sit on.
- Get the right shaped rat and pin to the plait you just made.
- once secure, get the crimped hair and rap round the rat and pin in place with pins.
- Flattern and tidy any bumpy bits.
- Then start to curl the front ten sections with thin curling tong.
- Leave to cool and the pin in place around the hair line.

Overall, it was a successful hairstyle, and I was happy with the outcome, only thing I would have to do is sort out the shape and make sure it is much neater than I had done it. But not too shabby for a first attempt!
